What is a Munchkin Bernedoodle?
Munchkin Bernedoodles were developed for families who love the gentle temperament, teddy bear appearance, and low-shedding coat of a Bernedoodle but prefer a smaller companion. By thoughtfully incorporating Cavalier King Charles Spaniel genetics into select Bernedoodle lines, breeders are able to create dogs that maintain many of the characteristics families love about Bernedoodles while achieving a more compact adult size. The result is a small, affectionate family dog with the signature Bernedoodle expression, friendly personality, and cuddly nature in a package that is easier to travel with and better suited for smaller homes.
Most Munchkin Bernedoodles mature between 15 and 25 pounds, although some pairings may produce puppies as small as 10 pounds. Their coats are typically wavy to curly and are often low-to-non-shedding, making them a popular choice for families seeking a cleaner home environment. Munchkin Bernedoodles are known for being highly people-oriented, gentle with children, eager to please, and adaptable to a variety of lifestyles.
