Our breeding program has never been about creating the smallest dog possible—it’s about creating the best dog possible. Every pairing is selected with temperament as our highest priority, followed closely by health and sound structure. Our Munchkin Bernedoodles are the result of that philosophy. By thoughtfully introducing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel into our Bernedoodle lines, we’re able to reduce size while increasing genetic diversity, which we believe contributes to healthier dogs for generations to come. Just as importantly, the Cavalier naturally complements the Bernese in both structure and personality, allowing us to preserve the classic Bernedoodle look and temperament that families love.

For the time being, we will be using Frank from our friends at the Bernedoodle Boutique as we continue developing this exciting new branch of our program. We are also especially excited to welcome Tater as the future foundation sire of our Munchkin Bernedoodle program. Tater is expected to mature around 18–20 pounds and embodies exactly what we are striving to produce: exceptional temperament, beautiful structure, and the compact “teddy bear” look we love. We look forward to introducing him to our breeding lineup in 2027. (see collage of him here!) Until then, we are carefully selecting an outside stud who shares these same qualities while we finalize our plans.

Whether a family chooses one of our traditional Micro Mini Bernedoodles or one of our Munchkin Bernedoodles, our goal remains the same: to thoughtfully reduce size without sacrificing the temperament, structure, or overall appearance that made us fall in love with Bernedoodles in the first place. Every breeding decision is made with those priorities in mind, ensuring each generation continues to reflect the quality and purpose behind our program.

Pictured below are Ivory's pups from her first litter, but her munchkins should be very similar in appearance. Ivory weighs 28 pounds and George is around 25 pounds, with a gorgeous compact structure that produces that squished teddy bear face.
