One of the biggest reasons we chose this pairing is to bring some additional genetic diversity into our Ultra program. Thoughtful outcrosses like this help us continue building healthier, stronger dogs for generations to come while still maintaining the temperament and look we love.

I also absolutely love the stud’s deep, rich tan points and beautiful curly coat. His genetics should contribute to stunning, furnished puppies with excellent allergy-friendly coats. Because this pairing has a slightly lower Ultra percentage, it will be an especially nice option for families looking for the least possible shedding while still getting the beautiful Ultra Bernedoodle look.

We can’t wait to see what Opal has for her very first litter! She has been the most incredible family dog and has naturally settled into a beautiful service role alongside her autistic brother. While it wasn’t something anyone intentionally set out to train, watching their bond develop has been incredibly special. Opal has helped him gain so much confidence simply by being the amazing dog she is. Now our whole family is excited to watch her step into her next role—as a wonderful mom.
