Pebbles

When Tatum and Roman had their litter of mini Bernedoodles, this beautiful and mostly white girl with big black patches immediately caught our eye. Knowing what her dad looks like, I had a feeling I knew what was coming — and wow, did she turn out stunning! Her ticking (those tiny speckles or spots that appear over time) has filled in phenomenally, making her markings so unique...leading us to her breeding name: Pebbles. If you’re not familiar with ticking, it’s what gives dogs those amazing little spots that continue to develop as they grow. Check out her progression photos from puppyhood to now — it’s such a dynamic transformation and the inspiration behind her name! If you look closely, you can even spot faint brown areas where her tan points would’ve been if she hadn’t been so white.

"Abby is a joy! She’s a happy sociable girl who’s a real ‘people’ person. She’s very smart and enjoys knowing what to expect and what her job is in our daily routine. If our schedule for walks or meals or bedtime is slightly off she helps us out by giving us gentle cues…bringing one of us a shoe if it’s time for a walk or dropping her bedtime ‘snuggle puppy’ on our lap if wants to go to bed and we weren’t paying attention to the time. So cute! She’s very patient with us. She loves to play with other dogs- especially at a dog park where she happily greets every dog she sees, and is delighted if they want to play a game of chase with her. She is surprisingly fast! Even herding type dogs struggle to out run her. All our family and friends adore her because she’s very well behaved and especially because she loves to cuddle."
